Visiting any church, especially a larger one, for the very first time can be an awkward experience. What door do I go into? What time does it start? What is there for my kids? These and many more questions always surface. When you visit Grace Baptist Church, you will find a friendly welcome from down-to-earth Christians who have a love for the Lord and their church family. There will always be someone to assist you with any questions or concerns. Our hope is that you will experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching from the Word of God and a place where you can feel welcome. Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.
10:00 AM – This is an adult Sunday school hour. It starts with prayer requests and then goes directly into the Bible lesson. Most often it is a verse by verse study through a book of the Bible or a three to four week topical study. This lasts until about 10:45.
11:00 AM – The worship service starts with choir music and congregational singing for about a half hour. This is followed by the preaching, which lasts 45-50 minutes. Most services end around 12:15 PM.
Yes. Grace provides a nursery for infants and children up to age three. Our nursery is a safe, clean environment that is well staffed. We also provide a junior church for ages three to five years old.
We encourage everyone to bring their Bibles and follow along with the Pastor’s message. If you do not have a Bible, we will provide one on request.
